Dr. Barry Peterson is a board certified Otolaryngologist (ENT), Head and Neck Surgeon, and Facial Plastic Surgeon.
He is originally from southeast Idaho and is very happy to have had the opportunity to return to our community and provide for your medical needs and the needs of our community.
Dr. Peterson’s education began in Rexburg where he attended Rick’s College, (BYU-I). He went on to finish his bachelor’s of science at BYU. He attended medical school at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Kirksville, MO.
Following his medical school education, he completed a specialty residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Facial Plastic surgery or ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) through Ohio University in Northeast Ohio.
After completing his training, Dr. Peterson started a very successful private practice in Utah where he worked until he was offered an opportunity to return home to practice here in Rexburg.
He is excited to be here providing for your medical needs. Dr. Peterson’s wife is also from this area and they are excited to be raising their five children in such a family centered area. They look forward to being a part of this community, and to getting know you through serving you professionally and interacting with you through school and community.
